Challenges Of Precision Agriculture Application In Pistachio Orchards: Factor Analysis From Iranian Agricultural Experts' Perspective

Iran's agriculture is globally well-known for its pistachio product. However, traditional management approaches and poor application of proper new technologies have brought reduced productivity environmental hazards. In the information age, in order to transition from modern horticultural model, precision model appropriate. Therefore purpose present study determine challenges orchards Semnan province. The research method was survey. statistical population were 187 experts counties' agricultural center. By Cochran formulae, 124 people selected as sample. It used a stratified random sampling method. field step, it questionnaire main tool. confirmed face content validity reliability results prioritizing PA showed that respondents’ point view, lack economic justification view gardeners area, fragmentation lands integrated land management, technical infrastructure required had highest priority. Also, shortage researches gap between extension, use technologies, providing consulting services identified least Exploratory factor analysis demonstrated exploitation four factors, including investment supportive, structural, human resource development supply, finally organizational program challenges.
